At this event, parent(s)/guardian(s), students and educators, will learn about the many opportunities available in the creative economy. Professionals from all sectors: art colleges, non-profit organizations, and arts/media/entertainment industry professionals, and more will be there to share details about their work and how you can get involved.
Students will learn more about preparing for a career as a creative professional. Parents/Guardians will learn how and why supporting youth in fields of creativity and innovation is beneficial to our city and their well-being.Educators and community partners will come together to support youth in exploring opportunities in one of the most fascinating and fulfilling career paths!We would love to see you there!
Founded in 1989, Inner-City Arts is a learning oasis in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Under the guidance of professional teaching artists, Inner-City Arts’ students are immersed in a safe and supportive environment where they may engage in a variety of visual and performing art forms in a studio setting. Services include core classes during the instructional day for grade K-8 students, after school and weekend workshops for teens and creativity based professional development training for educators. Children who attend Inner-City Arts develop skills that are highly valued in the 21st century workforce such as collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
