Come to connect, share, and learn about local opportunities to create a child care system that works for all. Children First Collective San Diego brings together a caring group of organizations and leaders to dramatically increase access to affordable, quality child care in our San Diego County communities. Passionate advocates in San Diego’s child care ecosystem come together for a COVID-safe (re)union to celebrate progress and resilience and build power for the work ahead. After a year and a half of organizing, educating and planning by Zoom, it’s time to reconnect and inspire one another as we aim to (1) make quality, affordable child care available to every working family that wants and needs it, and (2) ensure that providers and child care workers are supported and well-compensated for the incredible work they do to nurture our region’s children. By registering to this event you adhere to the following guidelines: 1) Maintain physical distance; 2) Wear a face covering; 3) Provide proof of vaccination or negative test 72-hours prior to the event.
