Thomas Shelby here was rescued from a bad home where he was kept in a back yard with dogs beating him up, so that's the story of how he sustained shell damage. We don't know his age. Shell measures roughly 16" wide. Sulcata tortoises, also know as African spurred tortoise or spur thighed tortoise. Tortoises this size are rare to find & worth over a thousand. His rehoming fee will reflect this. Thomas deserves a serious home where he can retire worry free. These animals require a specialized enclosure, not just typical fencing, and it can cost a lot to maintain a proper setup. They dig huge burrows & it's unfortunately very common for these pets to escape. An adoption application will be required. Please contact me if you have any questions
