Contractor needs Mason Needed for Outdoor BBQ Island

I am visiting a friend for the holidays and decided to help them on their dilapidated bbq island so I need to hire local brick mason. The job consists of removing the top brick deck and rebuilding three layers of brick below. I have purchased a used bbq to install but I am not sure what is the best way to replace the deck. One idea is poured concrete counter top or getting a stone slab. The problem with the slab is that it will need to be 5m yet still supported. Fyi the back splash will not be going back on. Please be ok with $35 per hour cash, have your own tools and most of all have the experience. I have some tools and will be able to assist while I am here. The job is located over on Rancho and 95.
