Press release from City of Waltham: December 30, 2021 As of TODAY, December 30th, Waltham's weekly COVID-19 positivity rate is at 6.44% and rising. At this time, in accordance with the Board of Health's vote to implement a public health mandate when at or above 2% positivity rating for two consecutive weeks, the Waltham Board of Health has voted to implement an indoor Public Health Mask Mandate, EFFECTIVE TOMORROW, December 31st, 2021. Face coverings will be required for all individuals aged 5+ in all indoor public or private spaces, except where the individual is unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability. This mandate will be in effect until the next Board of Health meeting where they will re-evaluate.
