Can you provide a good home for this special little guy? He is friendly and tame, and he has a very unusual, roan, Abyssinian coat. What he needs is someone who will commit to giving him time, attention, and TLC. Guinea pigs are social and want to be part of the family. This little guy likes being cuddled and held. However, it would be best for him if he could also have another guinea pig to socialize with - particularly another young male that he can bond with. We can include a small, temporary cage as part of the re-homing; but he really needs something much bigger, especially if he gets a friend. If you can put together a C & C type of enclosure, that is one of the best and cheapest options. The website of The Humane Society has recommendations on habitat requirements for guinea pigs. A re-homing fee is negotiable. We mainly want him to go to a good home.
