NH Jingle Bell Run Raises $45K For Arthritis Foundation

CONCORD, NH — This year's New Hampshire Jingle Bell Run raised nearly a third more than originally expected, according to organizers. The event, held for the 16th year on Dec. 5, raised more than $45,000 for the Arthritis Foundation — about $15,000 more than the goal. Northeast Delta Dental had a team of runners and put together a national fundraising team from a number of companies around the country. During the run, which occurred in Manchester, more than 100 people dressed up in holiday outfits, too. "Delta Dental member companies partner to raise funds for this important health initiative because they share a belief that oral health is critical to overall health and wellness," according to organizers. "Collectively, they have the largest network of dentists and provide coverage to more Americans than any other dental insurance company, offering dental coverage in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories."
