Press release from the City of Oak Forest: December 30, 2021 On December 29 at 7:03 p.m., Oak Forest Police were notified by an area hospital of two gunshot victims. Upon arrival to the hospital, police officers learned that the victims were south bound on Cicero Avenue in the 16800 block when a dark colored SUV fired multiple rounds at their vehicle. Several rounds struck the victims' vehicle and two occupants within.  Oak Forest police searched the area of 16800 Cicero Avenue and recovered several shell casings.  This matter is under investigation by the Oak Forest Police Department's Investigations Unit.
