Press release from the City of Monrovia: 12/30/2021 10:00 AM Happy New Year, Monrovia! As we wrap up 2021, I can't help but think of all the wild and unexpected events of the past year. With my eyes and mind focused towards the future, I think about how strong, resilient, and service-oriented our community is. When a problem arises, Monrovians step up to be part of the solution. If a need is known, members of our town will flock together to meet the need, whatever it is and from wherever it comes. We don't know what 2022 will bring, but we have reason to be optimistic, proud and welcoming to whatever we have in store. Within this update you will also find information about recycling your holiday trees and an upcoming rate increase for trash and recycling bills which will take effect January 1st.  As we count down to the New Year, please join us at the Noon Year's Eve or New Year's Eve events on Myrtle Avenue! We will be providing affordable childcare at the Community Center so parents can spend some time together on Myrtle and enjoy dining, shopping and being present for a wonderful holiday event.  I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and look forward to seeing you in 2022!  Sincerely,  Dylan Email: [email protected]  Phone: (626) 932-5585 New Year's Eve on Myrtle Avenue  On Friday, December 31, the City of Monrovia, along with the Monrovia Old Town Advisory Board and the Old Town Merchants, are set to present the return of our annual New Year's Eve on Myrtle Avenue!
