Looking for a smallish dog that needs rehoming

We are looking for a smaller adult dog, 12-20ish lbs aged around 2-5 years old to be an inside pet that needs to be rehomed for a good reason, i.e. death of owner or some other appropriate reason. Please don't try to pass me your unfixable, problem dog. We are looking for a loving, inside dog that needs a forever home. It needs to be is housetrained, spayed/neutered and would prefer that it be current on vax's. We have cats so the dog either has to have a very low prey drive, not be upset by fast moving cats, or already live with a cat. We would love a "cuddle bug". We also prefer that the dog is crate trained for night time. We are willing to deal with some behavior issues and/or some special needs that can be trained out or we can work with. I promise that we will provide a good and loving home. We are a former animal foster family that would like once again have a smallish dog in our life.
