I’m looking for some like minded musicians to try some surf rock/ surf jazz / spaghetti western kind of music. I’m thinking Ventures, Shadows, Jokers, Duane Eddy, kind of stuff - lots of reverb and offset guitars. I play a little electric guitar, a little acoustic, a little bass and can add some pedal steel to the mix and have access to a drum kit and piano. Ideally I’d like a situation where folks could move around and play different instruments for different tunes. I’ve got a few ideas around some interesting songs, but have an open mind. I’m mid 40’s - not looking to get famous, tour or anything like that, just play a little music, have some fun and maybe play a low stress gig or two if we’re good enough and gel. I’m fully vaxed, sober (don’t care if you drink a beer) but I’m not interested in hanging out with gear snobs, assholes, braggarts, fall down drunks, anyone who wants to talk politics (either side), or folks who don’t have the bandwidth to practice on their own if things pick up.
