I take care of my own a 33 ketch. But time has come when I need help with maintenance. My boat is no fixer upper  If you want to learn more about a boat you eventually want to own or get better ready for the cruise you now plan, this is a good situation for you. I want to cruise too, but recent health issues have slowed down projects.
