Looking for fellow aspiring filmmakers

Hello, My name is John and I am a photographer who once upon a time long ago also liked to work with video. Seeing as we're going into a new year and setting resolutions for ourselves and whatnot I would like to make a short film this year. I have a decent camera and some other gear (mics, monitor, tripods, drone etc) and I know how to shoot and edit and work with audio (well enough to get us started at least) and all that boring tech stuff. What I am not strong in is writing. I have some ideas and have been trying to learn more about plot structure and screenwriting and dialogue and all that fun stuff that comes together to make a story, but I'd like to partner with someone (or several people) who like to write stories but maybe don't know as much about film. There's no money in this, only respond if you just think it would be a fun project to work on.
