Fireworks and guns scare some dogs ! And yes, guns will not only be shot off tonight but a few tomorrow. Shelters get an overload of scared dogs the day after New Year's Eve. If your dog is really terrified, try putting it in a quiet, low light room with fairly loud easy listening music playing.
