Can someone help me learn to drive an excavator?

I may be buying some land that will need to be cleared of trees and brush. I am considering buying an excavator to do this myself when the time comes. The problem is I've never driven or controlled one. Heavy machinery is a new world to me. I am not pursuing certification or occupational paths at this point, however I may in the future. All I really want to do is spend an hour or two learning the basics. I've watched a few training videos on YouTube but beyond that I'd really like to talk to someone who might help me open a new horizon in my life. If you have an excavator or something similar and you're willing to do some basic training with a newbie, please reach out. Thanks!
