Come have some fun and learn to make your own healthy, skin~loving Body Lotion and vegan Lip Balm! The folks from Lally Broch Farm will take you through all of the steps to make your own custom lotions and balms- perfect for gifts or your own personal use! You will create 16 oz of luxury body lotion and bring it home in a refillable, glass jar with black lid and pump. At the risk of sounding immodest, once you make this lotion for your family, you'll never want to use anything else. It's *that* good! Then, try your hand at creating your own flavorful lip balms with vegan butters, oils, and waxes to lock in your lips' moisture and keep them healthy all year long. The cost of the class is $45 per person and pre-registration is required. Seating is limited to four students in order to give each student personalized attention. Each student will receive a copy of the recipes we create together in class. Our classes often sell out quickly, so don't delay in reserving your spot. We hope to see you there! Lotion Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid, Vitamin E, Water, Emulsifying Wax, and (Optional) Optiphen- to preserve shelf life. Essential Oils for scent, if desired. Lally Broch Farm is a "No Kill" homestead in beautiful Mid-coast Maine. They are home to over 20 dairy goats and specialize in helping folks learn about goat keeping. To help pay for the care of the animals who live on the homestead, Sean and Sonja create delicious feta cheese, chevre, and ricotta. They make fantastic goat's milk soaps. They offer hiking with goats activities. And, they teach classes so you can learn these arts and bring this knowledge home for your family to enjoy. Classes are kept small so you enjoy personal attention.
