Knowing which bird we are looking at can enhance our appreciation of nature. The diverse wading birds of Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge

Everyone enjoys looking at birds but knowing what kind of bird it is can increases our sense of connection with nature. Go beyond body color to observe bill shape & color, legs & feet and feeding technique that are important clues to wading bird identification. Or just come to admire photos of the refuges magnificent bird life.
