Learn recipes and tips for cooking delicious food with less waste Food waste is a global issue that can feel overwhelming to solve. But every little bit helps. In this class learn recipes that use whole ingredients and generate less food waste - and still taste amazing! Whole Orange Cake, just like the name indicates, uses an entire orange. Roast Carrots with Carrot-Top Pesto uses the often thrown-out carrot greens to make a delicious pesto. Watermelon Panzanella Salad features watermelon not just in the salad but also in the dressing, including the rind. Finally, Pasta with Ricotta & Lemon makes use of odds and ends from the pantry and fridge, rather than throwing them away. NOTE: ATTENDEES MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED FAQs What's the refund policy? Full refund up to one week before the class. Within one week of the class I will give you a refund if I can fill the space. What should I bring into to the class? Just bring yourself and a beverage, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, if you wish (I provide water - still and sparkling). I provide aprons, equipment, copies of recipes and the food. Occasionally we will have leftovers, so feel fring to bring a reusable container if you want to bring food home. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? My address is 2 Oakmount Circle - first house on the left when you turn onto Oakmount (gray cape cod w/ yellow door). There is plenty of street parking available on Oakmount.
