View newly acquired artwork from internationally known Nigerian artist Ben Ibebe. A frequent visitor to Dayton, Ben Ibebe focuses on images of everyday scenes of West African life. His unique impasto technique gives each piece an almost three-dimensional surface, adding character to bright colors and geometric composition. For those attending Virtually, a PowerPoint presentation of the artwork will be part of the Zoom event. Support intergenerational BIPOC writers of the Women Writing for (a) Change community as they share readings centered on Black Joy. For 30 years, Women Writing for (a) Change® has provided a safe and non-competitive environment for individuals to develop their writing skills, cultivate their creativity and strengthen their voices.  At WWf(a)C, our writers, whether first-timers or the more experienced, find community, connection and meaningful conversation within our writing circles.   We encourage writing as a process of self-discovery and self-expression—a celebration of the individual voice. Our classes provide a unique setting in which honoring each other’s words enriches participants’ lives.
