A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..... my life revolved around music and performing. As a kid I spent many years at a performing arts school singing, dancing, and acting, but singing has always stuck with me. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen events I didn't keep up with that part of myself and my life for quite some time. Fast forward to about 10 years later and I have never stopped singing (just in my car and the shower 😅). Desperate to get back into the things I adored so much as a child I decided to purchase a ukulele and teach myself how to play to accompany myself while singing. It's been a couple years since I've started playing the ukulele and have kind of plateaued at this point. I know a good 5/6 chords but I would definitely still consider myself a beginner. Eventually I'd love to write, sing, and perform my own songs (I also write poetry) but I feel like I have a really long way to go and I would love any kind of help!!! I've had quite a few jam sessions with other musical friends over the years, but since I moved to the Philly area last year I am completely ignorant as to how to get into the Philly music scene! Truly I'm looking for any kind of musical company. If you can teach me some things that would be great! I have plenty of room to grow and will accept any and all critique/feedback. But I'd also love to collaborate with other musical/creative types as I think I my talents can also bring something to the table. I listen to and love almost any kind of music. There are certain artists I sing more than others, mainly because my vocal skills are mostly in the alto-tenor range but honestly I sing all over the place.
