Ideal Concrete Block Co. is hiring Yard Associates in our Westford location. The key activity in this position is filling customer orders and loading/unloading various types of trucks and construction vehicles with a variety of hardscape products. The employee must be safety conscious and courteous. This position requires accuracy in filling customer orders as well as in the storage of our manufactured products. Additionally, there is a responsibility by all yard associates for overall yard cleanliness. Other duties as assigned. Key Skills/Attributes for this position are as follows: Self-motivated with a daily focus on customer service and satisfaction Organizational skills are important and proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills. Being bilingual is a plus Safe operation of a forklift (MA hoisting permit required) Strong attention to housekeeping and overall yard appearance/cleanliness Must have a hands-on work ethic and be a team-orientated individual. Salary & Hours: Starting at $20 with 30 day review. Hours are Monday thru Friday (40-50 hours available year-round). Job Candidates: We are a drug-free company. Pre-employment testing will be arranged by Ideal to determine fitness as well as a drug screen. People in the concrete paver/wall block industry (outdoor living) are encouraged to apply – but of course, we’ll speak with anybody that feels they might be a good fit.
