We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate/Supervisor to ensure that materials are efficiently and properly received into the warehouse, warehoused, staged, and distributed out of the warehouse. This position will oversee our awesome warehouse staff as well. Some of what you will be doing: • Oversee day-to-day material flow throughout the warehouse • Dispatch drivers and truck routes • Manage warehouse personnel • Ensure warehouse personnel are properly trained on the forklift • Manage vendor relationships We are looking for a Supervisor who can: • Lead employees by example. Set and demonstrate the standard while showing, in both words and through actions • Closely oversee and participate in the training of employees • Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, internal customers and external customers • Build strong communication links between yourself and others • Work to first resolve issues and conflict with peers • Ensure all processes and procedures are clearly documented, maintained and communicated • Constantly seek out way to improve both yourself and the group. Constantly look for better and more efficient ways of doing things. • Participate in “hands on” management as there will be times and circumstances which dictate the need to get involved and perform the functions of your employees Call for more info!
