Our Black American Music Series is Back with Season 2! We continue the tradition of celebrating our music with a tribute to funk/r&b/soul legend, Chaka Khan. Featuring Anesia Renee About CHAKA KHAN: For more info visit - https://chakakhan.com/ Hayti, under the guidance of the St. Joseph's Historic Foundation, presents this signature event each year in an effort to keep Black film alive.  New and veteran artists screen their films before an enthusiastic crowd of film enthusiasts while vendors provide great food, beverages, arts and crafts. The Center preserves and advances the heritage and culture of historic Hayti and the African American experience through programs that benefit the broader community locally, nationally and globally.  Hayti Heritage Film Festival is one of those program and helps preserve the heritage and embrace the experience of Black film and more for the Durham and surrounding communities.
