Description
You asked for my number & while I hesitated, as I'd recently drowned my mobile phone, I eventually tried to write it in the sand, but realized the pen and pad in your hand better suited my landline digits. To my knowledge you never called and I haven't seen you on the shore since. I sincerely wish we could have further connected over the meanderings and meditations in both our notebooks (an evening shift pulled me away that late Saturday afternoon). There is something mutual, if I'm correct, I intuited about you, something my century ago (or so) sister (Simone) articulates with what she calls Affliction. I was not patronizing you when I said I hope to see you soon.
