Let's bring in the new year with a magical, heart-opening, intention-setting evening at Morningside Park. Ready to start off the year with a bit of magic? Let's join together for our New Moon Reflection Ceremony to release 2021 and enter 2022 with clear minds, open hearts, and beautiful surroundings at Morningside Park. Awareness into Action and Morningside Watersports are collaborating to provide you with a beautiful, community-centered experience Sunday 1/2, 5:30 - 8:00p. We will gather around the bonfire as we connect to rebirth and renewal and allow ourselves and set our intentions for the new year with a guided meditation. The new moon will guide us as we recognize a blank slate as an opportunity to plant seeds and inspire new beginnings. Warm, delicious cacao will open the heart to open ourselves up to greater horizons and softer inner worlds. Sound healing and acupressure will allow for grounding, releasing, and a feeling of joy, renewal, and nurturance inside and out. We have established 3 tiers of giving to ensure that no one will be turned away: Ceremony for One: $15 Sponsorship: $30 Bring a friend for a discount! Yoga mat or blanket or something to lay on (get cozy)Yourself (and maybe a friend or a loved-one)That's it! We will take care of you for the rest. After the sound healing and acupressure, you are welcome to enjoy the bonfire and enjoy any left-over cacao. Morningside is a hidden gem but it has the potential to be a much more powerful community center. In addition to the various kayaking and paddleboarding tours hosted at Morningside, like the New Moon Ceremony, we want to work together to create workshops, markets, educational seminars, clinics, clean-ups, etc. all tailored to community needs. We want to GET INVOLVED and DO WHAT WE LOVE. All proceeds will assist in funding current and future community offerings.
