We're always working toward a better, more artful southwest Florida and your help is crucial to making that happen. While we still have a long way to go, we made great strides this year including: • Continued expansion of our Arts Access Programs, which actively seek to increase access and equity in the arts by expanding classes for young artists and actors with autism spectrum disorder, use theatre to convene conversations on race and provide audio described, and amplified audio performances for theatregoers with hearing and visual impairments. • Awarding summer camp scholarships to 100% of those who applied and increased access to scholarship opportunities for adult and youth classes. • Securing initial funding for our Digital Arts Lab – a new community resource and space equipped with computers and software for creating for creating video, music, graphics, photos, website, animations and other digital art forms — inciting creative workforce development, democratization of the arts and promoting engagement. None of this would be possible without you. With your help, we met the $7,500 match Dick & Mary Lou Helms and Robert & Ann Arnall pledged to jumpstart our end-of-year campaign with $15,000! To celebrate, an anonymous donor has issued another end of year challenge – they will match every donation we receive before December 31 up to $10,000! We're shy of our end of year fundraising goal and I'd be remiss to not ask one last time – if you haven't made a donation yet, please make a contribution to the Alliance, our theatre or our Digital Arts Lab to help us start 2022 with a bang. 100% of your donation will be used to support the arts, arts education and artists in our community!
