The Town Clerk has announced that nomination papers for the April 5th, 2022 Annual Town Election will be available in the Town Clerk's office beginning on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at 8:00am.
The deadline to obtain nomination papers is Friday, February 11th, 2022 at 1:00pm.
Candidates must obtain the signatures of at least fifty registered voters in the Town of Canton. Electronic signatures are not acceptable. The deadline to file completed nomination papers with the Board of Registrars is Tuesday, February 15th, 2021 at 7:00pm.
The offices that will appear on the ballot are as follows:
Select Board: One, three-year term
Board of Assessors: One, three-year term
Board of Health: One, three-year term
School Committee: Two, three-year terms
School Committee: One, one-year term (to fill a vacancy)
Planning Board: One, five-year term
Trustees of Public Library: Three, three-year terms
Housing Authority: One, five-year term
