On October 10,2021 the Florida Sun Sentinal reported on complaints to the State of Florida about unsolicited text messages asking people if they want to sell their unlisted and not for sale houses . The Sioux City, South Dakota, area newspaper Argus leader did a full report on this scam / spam. The texts, which cite the actual address and are sent to private cell phones using the owners' name, ask if they want to sell the home and was spamming area residents in September 2021.None of the homes were listed for sale . This texting scam, now affecting Commack homes are being sent to cell phones. The texting phone number shows as 631 825 9330 .IF you have received texts from other numbers you can report them to 2 NY government agencies.
