NORWICH, CT — Seven people were displaced following a fire at a two-family home Wednesday night, The New London Day reported. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 8:16 p.m. and found heavy flames coming from the home's back and sides. It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire completely under control. One of the residents is being treated for smoke inhalation, according to The New London Day.
