WESTFIELD, NJ — A Westfield lottery player won big in Wednesday's Powerball drawing, scoring a $100,000 prize by purchasing the ticket with Power Play.
The lucky winner purchased a ticket from Krauszer's Food Store on 727 Central Avenue in Westfield. Four New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls at the Wednesday, Dec. 29 drawing, according to New Jersey Powerball.
Because the Westfield player purchased a ticket with Power Play, the original $50,000 prize was multiplied to $100,000.
The other three winners — each earning $50K prizes — were from Bergen County, Burlington County and Camden County.
The winning numbers were: 02, 06, 09, 33, and 39. The Red Power Ball number was 11, and the Power Play was 2X.
There were 74,619 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $384,174 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $483,000,000 for the Saturday, January 1, drawing.
