JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop will take the oath of office to start his third term on Saturday, Jan. 1.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the city's Facebook page (linked here).
The ceremony is scheduled to start at the City Hall Council Chambers at 5 p.m.
Because of COVID precautions, attendance will be limited to the elected officials being sworn in and their families, the municipal judges, and department directors. Masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced, the city said.
Fulop, a former Marine and former Goldman Sachs employee, is raising his family in Jersey City. He was first elected to the Jersey City Council in 2005.
