It’s Not Too Late to Donate for 2021 POWER CHANGES LIVES INC is pleased to report a successful year as we close out our fiscal year in 2021. It’s still not too late for you to make your tax-deductible charitable contribution to POWER before the clock strikes 2022. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw a record-breaking spirit of giving from donors like you. We also saw a passionate level of commitment from our staff to create new programs which involved hard work and long hours to improve the lives of seniors – children – families and the homeless. Current Programs POWER® has several initiatives to directly address disparities in low-income, minority, and underserved communities throughout the United States. Partnerships and Sponsorships POWER® initiatives and partnerships have reached over 15,000 clients in New Jersey alone and over 50,000 across the United States. Collaboration is also key to our organization’s success. Our partnerships have allowed us to provide direct, focused aid to those across the United States. Some of those partnerships include: Partnership with NJ Department of Aging providing support and direct services to the aging.Partnership with NJ Together addressing social justice reform within the State of NJ.Partnership with LavaMae® in California, the genesis of mobile-shower unit concepts addressing homeless populations.Partnership with a music collective of students at the Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts, providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction.Partnership with music collective of students at the Florida International University in Florida providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction. Partnership with music collective of students at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction.Partnership with music collective of students at Carleton in Minnesota providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction.Partnership with music collective of students at the Florida International University in Florida providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction.Partnership with music collective of instructors at the Aaron Copland School of Music in New Jersey providing volunteer music literacy training and instruction.Partnership with Atlantic Health System providing medical care providers at trailer sites. Partnership with Zufall Health providing mobile dental services at trailer sites.Sponsorship by Hanes corporation providing undergarments and socks for the homeless.Sponsorship by Amazon providing PPE for trailer staff and medical partners at the trailer site.
