Seven dads formed Dads MOVE in 2011 to help struggling fathers and their families that are raising children with mental health and behavioral disorders. Over the years we have learned how many issues affect these children from trauma to the parent’s own mental health. We are a family-focused, father-driven non-profit that serves families raising children with behavioral health concerns. We provide parent education weekends, statewide training, peer support, and resource navigation support. We are moving from being a working board to a fundraising and marketing board. We are seeking diverse Board candidates with a passion and empathy who have a couple of hours a week to volunteer to help grow our vision of serving families.
