I am looking for bass, keys, drums ideally who have a similar musical mindset. Open to ideas, interesting covers, jamming, improvising. If the right people came along and songs and momentum come together, maybe gigs could become a goal. At first it should be about just having fun playing some music. Big influences for me are the Dead, Phish, The Band, Miles Davis. But I also love indie synth pop music and bluegrass and Django Reinhardt. I am into a lot of music. I think I am trying to find people with an open mind. I have emailed SO many people trying to find something that sticks and I haven't found anyone. Finding other musicians around here is tough so I am hoping some people might read this and think maybe we are on the same musical wavelength. I have decent gear and I am an okay guitar player, nothing amazing but I think I can hold my own. It would be nice to find people with the collective musical mindset that as a group of musicians the music can be better than any one person in the group. Hope to hear from you.
