Darien Store Worker Accused Of Felony Theft: Cops

DARIEN, IL — An employee of Home Depot in Darien stole items worth nearly $600 from the store, Darien police said. Jeffery Dobrik, 20, who lives in the 7300 block of Fairview in Downers Grove, was charged with felony retail theft. According to police, a loss prevention employee saw Dobrik pretending to scan multiple items and leaving the store without making payment on Dec. 15. He was arrested five days later. Dobrik was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
