DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the latest reports: Domestic battery Lovell Jackson, 20, of Darien, was arrested about 9 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Plainfield Road on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Intoxicated customer John Nello Matis, 60, no hometown given, was arrested about 1 p.m. Friday at Chase Bank, 7501 Cass Ave., on a charge of DUI. According to a police report, the bank's manager told officers about concerns that a customer was intoxicated and would drive away in his truck. Matis was released and given a date to appear in court. Retail theft Latrina Bonner, 39, of Willowbrook, was cited about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on a charge of retail theft. According to a police report, a loss prevention employee said Bonner used the self-checkout lane and failed to ring several items. She was released and given a date to appear in court. DUI Stephen C. Johnson, 52, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 11 p.m. Dec. 23 near 75th Street and Cass Avenue on charges of DUI and disobeying a traffic signal. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Tyrone Price, 41, of Bellwood, was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday in the 7100 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, and transportation or possession of open alcohol. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
