I am an accomplished electric lead guitarist and also am very skilled with keyboards and have decent vocal ability. I have been playing music since the Spring of 1975. I simply love playing guitar. I want to be clear. I am not looking for a steady gig (however, if the situation is right, I am not necessarily opposed to it either). Not in a bragging way, but I rarely need to rehearse. What I am though is this. I am a very good guitarist and know how to blend in with other musicians and musical environments. Im not looking for money ( but I wouldn't turn it down either). I am very well versed in classic rock of the late 60's into the 80's, any Blues, R&B, country, and Beach.I dont do "hair band" 1980's ballads, Grunge, metal, or any crap. I mean Rap. I am dependable, and if I say I will show up at your gig, I will be there and be there early. I dont do ANY drugs, and rarely have a drink. Music is my passion. I am the guy you can rely on, and hey, if your happy with my playing (and you will be ), then maybe a few dollars would be nice to cover gas.I dont make a thing about the money. If money is all you are interested in, then we probably dont need to meet anyway. Im a straight shooter. Im 62, and dont BS people and I dont like BS. I have LOTS of pro gear, I am self-employed, I would bring NO DRAMA, and could help you and your band out if you ran into a certain situation. I will also be clear in this. I am absolutely NOT interested in being a "second fiddle" to another lead guitarist. With me, you only need one lead player. As far as material and setlists go., all I would need is 2-3 days notice to dive in to be ready to bring the goods. I live on Lake Tillery and distance is typically not good for me to rehearse, but if the situation requires a night of rehearsal, I could perhaps work that out. Basically, I just want to play without any commitments. But that too could possibly change. Anyway, if this sounds interesting, please let me know.
