UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The New York Police Department released a video late Wednesday night of a man getting sucker-punched from behind after he walked into a bank on the Upper West Side.
The attack happened on Dec. 20 at 2:50 a.m. after a 75-year-old man walked into the Capital One Bank building at 175 West 72nd Street (corner of Broadway). As he walked into the building, an attacker cocked back and punched in the head from behind, a video provided by police shows.
The attacker proceeded to kick the man multiple times when he was on the ground, the video shows.
The 75-year-old was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where he was treated for a cut to his eye, police said.
The attacker fled the scene, and there have been no arrests.
