PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST.......GABLE NEEDS A FOSTER BY END OF DAY DEC 31 OR HE WILL BE PUT DOWN My name is Gable. I am a 1yr old Sharpei mix male at 66lbs. I’m sure you are wondering how does a 1 yr. get a death sentence having only been here since 12/10/2021.. I am just plain terrified of this place, its’ people attempting to lasso me and trying to pet me with a leash. What’s up with that? I have been so scared they take me out in a bucket and return me in one. I'm really trying to be brave here so someone will save me. During my last outing I walked right in and out of the cart all by myself. Once out in the yard I climbed up on a bench, I was shaking but I enjoyed some brief pets. I really want to trust, I'm just not sure what's happening from one min to the next. No one really has the time for me here. This is all very strange to me. I just need one person who is willing to step-up and foster me https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/BPAZ/Dog I need to learn what it is to be and feel safe, be cared for, feeling love for the first time and have a family to love back. I know with the correct guidance I will cherish this time. I just need one yes, one foster to step-up and help me. I haven't met any other dogs here so as my foster if you have a pet you will need to keep me safely separate until we can do a slow introduction. I do not know how I am with the kiddos but given my size no young kiddos I may not know what to do with those hugs, pokey fingers and fast movements. All it will take is one foster to step-up and then maybe I can get a rescue to help us. So please, if you can open your heart, and have patience,please help me. Please hurry, I don't have much time.
