Seeking saxophone player for jazz/ jazz-pop project, with collaborative group of good musicians for weekly or semi-weekly practice, and performance, with piano, guitar, upright & electric bass, drums, conga/bongos, male and female vocals and harmonies. Selections include standards, bossa nova, and jazz-inflected melodic pop-rock/R&B, as well as British and San Francisco folk-jazz. Additional trumpet -- and violin for a few compositions, enthusiastically welcomed.
