Need someone who knows alternator wiring

93 Isuzu Rodeo v6 just changed my alternator and still not charging. The old style connector on the truck didn't match the connector on the new alternator so I've spliced them and it should be working but I can't physically do any more even to diagnose as I am in great pain and can't use my hand until I heal up from a recent accident non vehicle related. I am well versed in electrical myself just hurting too much to put hands on it any further and I'm sure the solution is right in front of me. So I'm calling out for a helping hand from someone who knows alternator conversions, new alt is 2 wire plug old one was 3. Even if you can just illuminate the fault via text or phone as I don't really have anything to compensate with, maybe I can trade some tools or something if someone with concise knowledge wants to come splice a few wires real quick and that's literally all that's left. Also I currently live in the truck and with the cold right now and my injury this is becoming a very dangerous situation without any way to escape the cold. Any help appreciated
