Description
We are seeking a new home for our 9 month old Akbash/Great Pyrenees mix puppy, Groot.
Groot needs a home owner with enough time to devote to his training and socialization. He does bark and is very protective of his people and property. He was originally raised with livestock but since us getting him, he has not been exposed to them much. I think with some training he may be a great LGD. He enjoys being outdoors and indoors. He is house trained and crate trained. Groot does have a sensitive stomach when it comes to chicken and turkey so we feed him fish based kibble, duck/beef/fish treats. He is up to date on all vaccines but is not yet neutered. He is roughly 100+ pounds right now. He is good with female dogs (regularly plays with a Doberman and a Aussie mix, but I can't promise he'd be good with other males. He is okay with small dogs but he does like to lick them a lot so probably not a good idea for him to be around small dogs. He loves kids but older kids only due to his size.
This is very hard on us but we need to do what's best for him and he needs more room to grow and have proper training.
If you're interested in him, we are asking a rehoming fee of $80 to ensure a good home. You must have a good vet reference, a fenced yard (preferably in the country), and proof of home ownership such as a Driver's License with your address and name.
Please email me if you are interested in him. He would love a new place to call his own.
