Marc is a beautiful dog, with a huge heart. He is one of those dogs that everyone comments on his beauty, when walking him down the street. He has been at a rescue center for too long. He was owned by a family but they had to make a quick move, and couldn't take him with them. Right now, he is in a foster home for a few weeks but will have to return to the kennels in early January. Marc is a big lap dog. He loves riding in a car and going on adventures. He also loves playing with toys, running after balls and playing tug of war. He will need an owner who has had experience with dogs, who can be strong when necessary. Marc has his own mind and when he wants to go one way, he will just go, without checking in with his handler, especially if he sees squirrels. So, I would say he needs someone who can be patient and work with him and let him know that he has to follow their lead. Once he knows this, he will follow. Marc is extremely smart and very perceptive. He is going to be best being the center of attention and in a home with no other dogs.
