We are seeking a full time Band Saw Operator who saws all process or finished parts and performs special saw cuts on material. Key Responsibilities:  Maintains band saw in good working condition and keeps work area clean.  Perform minor corrections on saw, if cannot correct must put lockout tag-out on machine and report to lead.  Responsible for reading Work Order specifications, notes, use check fixtures and band saws all the parts to specifications.  Responsible for maintaining aluminum alloy 7075 separate from other alloys.  Education/Knowledge & Experience  High School Diploma/GED  Band Saw Training a plus  Forklift certification a plus  If do not possess Band Saw training or forklift experience, must possess a learning attitude and aptitude to obtain these  6 months experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace is a plus Technical Skills  Ability to input basic information in system.  Ability to count and measure  Ability to mark material and use band saw fixtures on special saw material  Ability to read and understand Work Order Specifications  Additional Skills:  Must be very safety-oriented.  Possess a positive attitude  Ability to read, write, and speak English is preferred Hours -6am to 2:30pm Monday -Friday plus OT Applicants must be “U.S. Persons” as identified by ITAR (Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens).
