Description
Mom strategist Trisha Goodall offers tools to help mothers with boundaries, feeling overwhelmed, and living happy and free. What to expect: The event will open at 5:30 pm EST. You will have 15 minutes to mingle with the other women and ask me and Trisha any questions you'd like before the main event begins. This will be an interactive event. You don't have to share or engage in the activities, but you are welcome to. (For those of you who are introverts and wanted to come, but balk at the thought of it being interactive. :-)) I will share some of my personal story briefly before introducing our main speaker Mom Strategist Trisha Goodall, founder of Baby Bridge, formerly known as Ostaria Parenting. We will invite others to share their own stories throughout the evening. Trisha will lead us through vulnerable conversations, and provide skills that will help you identify places where boundaries may be helpful as a mother, and how to stop feeling overwhelmed; as well as discussing what an abundance mindset is and the importance of gratitude. The main event will go for an hour and people will have time to mill about and have deeper conversations afterwards. Trisha Goodall is a mom strategist dedicated to alleviating overwhelm in modern motherhood through customized strategies and 1:1 support. Trisha's unique services like her project management skills and postpartum doula skills combined with her journey to a guilt-free mom life, help other moms honor their version of motherhood and live free. 3 Topics we'll be going over at the event are: 1) Discovering, holding, and balancing boundaries 2)Discovering and maintaining an abundance mindset 3) Creating a practice of gratitude to help find balance 50% of the proceeds of the January 5th event will go to local non-profit Near by Baby https://www.nearbybaby.org/ for anyone who decides to donate versus coming for free. Nearby Baby's mission is to provide quality postpartum support to families with a newborn in the Charlottesville area, regardless of their ability to pay. This service will help to promote a healthy start for baby and a smooth transition for the family. The purpose of the event is to create a safe, non judgmental space for women to be supported by other women. For women to be able to create community while they vulnerably share without fear of shame, or antagonism regarding what their experiences are. Some of the subjects we'll cover in various group meetings will include how to navigate conflict, motherhood, finding balance, facing fear, deal with imposter sydrome, boundaries, overcoming sexual assault, expectations of self and others; and so much more on the road to empowerment.
