A short presentation on self-advocacy for kids with a team building exercise. Do you want to give your kids a boost and help them learn how to advocate for themselves in the New Year? Join us for some fun and confidence building at the upcoming DDUT Youth Advocates event! Parents and students will have an opportunity to network with others and to talk with DDUT Youth Advocates and Board Members. This is a great opportunity to have your questions answered, share your own successes and find local resources to help you on your family’s journey.  This is a FREE event and suitable for students in 3rd grade and above. A parent or guardian must attend with their student(s). A grassroots movement joining other states in the nation that are driven by people concerned with the limited access to educational interventions for dyslexia within our public schools and communities.
