Learn, work and grow within a fast-paced, owner operated company. Infinity Marine Services specializes in performing vendor services to boat yards and dealerships in the Danvers area. Prior to the boat’s delivery to the customer, we provide detailing, gelcoat and fiberglass repair. This is a great opportunity to gain on-the-job training while working in the boating industry! Job Description: We are seeking someone who has detailing experience and is skilled and passionate about what they do! This is a managerial role. In this role, you will be overseeing detail operations and ensuring quality of work prior to completion of the job. Someone with high energy, and who leads by example will thrive in this role. You will have a standard operation procedure checklist to guide you, along with hands on training from the owner/operator of the company. Within this role, you will also have the opportunity to learn fiberglass and gelcoat (boat paint) repair. The detail manager will be leading by example, and will also be performing the following tasks: • Washing, waxing, and buffing exteriors • Cleaning and treating windows & isinglass • Vacuuming and wiping out compartments • Wet sanding scuffs and scratches in gelcoat • Polishing and protecting chrome • Following all company and safety procedures • Ensuring quality work is done before moving on • Maintaining a safe and clean work area These character traits and skills are necessary for success within this role: • Extreme attention to detail • Organizational skills • Ability to lead • Able to follow and give instructions • Able to work effectively within a team • Able to communicate effectively with team members • Willingness to learn • Strong work ethic • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Able to bend, squat, climb and stand for extended periods of time • Able to show up at scheduled time • Previous car detailing or cleaning experience is required for this position. • Auto body experience is a bonus • Must be able to use a buffer Other Requirements For Position: Must be willing to show up on time, and be clean and presentable, as many of the boats are considered high-end..
