Dignity’s Alcove is excited to host its inaugural military-themed fundraiser, “Boots on the Ground, “ crab feed dinner and dance. Dignity's Alcove's mission is to create an effective outreach and support network for homeless Veterans in Northern California and the Central Valley. By providing individual supportive services to these Veterans, we can effectively break the cycle of homelessness. Our program is designed to advance client motivation, promote a productive lifestyle, teach monetary management skills, undertake credit repair, and secure permanent housing. We address specific challenges that many Veterans face: mental illness, physical disability, and substance abuse. Our Annual Crab Feed will take place at the Sycamore in Downtown Stockton. This evening of food, live music, dancing, and raffles promises to be an immense success. It is also an innovative and memorable way for us to reach out to our community supporters. Our staff will work to ensure an occasion wherein every guest receives courtesy and recognition. Funds raised from this event will go directly towards our program to assist not only homeless Veterans, but also support the homeless population in our community.
