Responsibilities Assist the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for the residents Transport residents to and from scheduled trips, i.e. medical appointments, day outings, and evening events including weekend driving needs Complete necessary reports, forms, etc. for appropriate pre-trip/post-trip, sanitation on vehicle prior, during, and after a work shift Maintain a safe and clean work environment Ability to assist residents with transferring in and out of vehicles Additional duties may be required as the Activity program consistently changes with resident needs and state requirements Required Skills and Experience Experience working with senior adults Strong written and verbal communications skills in English Strong computer and clerical skills using Microsoft Word and Excel Valid driver’s license with good driving history Enjoys arts and crafts Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, tie-down wheelchairs, go up and down stairs on vehicle multiple times throughout the day. When scheduling permits, the ability to help with event set-up for on-campus activities.
