Bow Creek Watershed Project Crop Rotation and Cover Crop Incentive Meeting Offered twice! 11 AM - Wynot, NE 5 PM - Hartington, NE Learn about the impairments in Bow Creek and the incentive program available to farmers and ranchers in the Bow Creek Watershed. UNL Extension Cropping Specialist, Mitiku Mamo, will discuss the benefits of crop rotations and how it can increase farm profits. Dale Strickler will discuss plant species selection for cover crops. Local Producers will discuss how crop rotations and cover crops have been applied on their operation, including how grazing cover crops has provided additional income while improving water quality.
